I know, I know, it's been awhile since I last updated you dolls on my natural hair. I've been trying new styles and experimenting a little. See my growth below and different hair styles. 

My Natural Hair Chronicles: Twist-Out SUCCESS

I'm absolutely loving my twist-out results! My curls are so defined, I two strand twisted my hair using She Moisture's Curl Enhancing Smoothie, and these are my results below!

So I decided to do a chunky twist-out on wet hair. I was feeling a little lazy with my hair so after washing and conditioning it, I twisted my hair in chunky twists and took them out the following day. Here are the results, I decided to play with it a little and pin the side up!

It looked even better the older it got to me!

The Natural Hair Blues. . .

Ok, so I'm really going through some MAJOR natural hair woes. What I like to call "the natural hair blues" Now don't get me wrong I love my natural hair. But I've come to a road block with it. I'm literally stuck, and I just don't know where to go from here. So I recently got my hair straightened. Which you can see in the post below. Buuuut when I got my hair all blown out, I noticed it was growing in weird lengths. Nothing like I imagined it would. Seeing my hair in this state had me wondering. & I honestly even gave relaxing my hair a thought. I just kinda wanted to cut it into a cute pixie cut and relax it. Another thing, where I still had remaining color the texture of my hair, had drastically changed! I know for a fact if I hadn't colored my hair it would be a lot healthier. But it is what it is, all I can do is give my hair extra loving in hopes of it all becoming one texture again. Next, I'm considering a protective style, preferably it'll probably be a weave. I don't want to give in that easy and get a relaxer, but whoooh I'm suffering from the natural hair blues!

So I decided to get my hair straightened! It was awesome to see how much my hair had really grown. I also got my ends trimmed. This was much needed!

Hey beauties! I've been uber busy lately but just wanted to update you all on my current natural hair state. Lately, I've been doing "twist outs" to achieve the result below. Next I'm really considering straightening my hair or just giving my hair a breather all together and trying something new. What that is I'm not completely sure yet. . .Stay tuned!

This is my second 'big chop' reason being apparently all the relaxer wasn't cut off the first time!

I'm on a quest to find the best natural hair products for ME! Aveda's Pomade and Brilliant Damage Control are great! I love the way it nourishes my hair and leaves it wavy and moisturized. I use it approximately five minutes after towel drying my hair after it's been washed.

My Natural Hair Chronicles: Hair Products I Use

After shampooing my hair, I apply Coconut Curlada Conditioner to wet hair comb, and rinse through. This conditioner smells absolutely DIVINE! It smells like actual coconut, I LOVE it. Leaving my hair wavy.

But for a little more curl than wave, because my hair tends to wave up. I add Moroccanoil Curl Defining Mousse.

After applying these natural hair products, my hair looks like this! 

This is just the start of something great! I'll be sure to keep you beauties updated on my kinks, curls, and waves!!!!
